Each section starts with a plain English summary; the text below it is what applies.
1. What this page is
In shortHow the AI Agents behave when a fan may be in crisis or may be under 18. Adults only; not suitable for minors.
Creators use RunChatLab to run AI chat Agents that answer their fans on a fan platform. This page explains, in plain words, what the Agents do when a conversation touches a crisis or a possible minor. These checks are automatic. They can miss things or trigger by mistake, and they do not replace the creator's own care or the platform's rules.
RunChatLab Agents are for adults only and are not suitable for minors.
2. When a fan may be in crisis
In shortNo AI reply, a short caring message, no selling and nothing sexual for at least a day, and an alert to the creator.
Every fan message is checked for words and phrases about suicide or self harm, in English and several other languages, before any AI model is asked to reply. When the check matches:
- the AI model is not asked for that reply; the Agent sends a short, caring message written in advance, which encourages the fan to reach out to someone close to them;
- for at least 24 hours nothing is sold to that fan and nothing sexual is said, and replies stay supportive; scheduled follow up messages to that fan are skipped;
- the creator gets a high priority alert in the dashboard asking them to step in; the alert records which kind of words matched, not the message;
- if an AI written reply to any fan contains crisis wording, it is replaced by the caring message and flagged the same way.
When a fan only sounds low (sad, lonely, grieving), the Agent answers with extra care and does not sell in that reply.
If you are thinking about suicide or self harm, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now. In the United States you can call or text 988. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists free services in many countries.
3. When a fan may be under 18
In shortIf a fan says they are under 18, selling and sexual talk stop for good. If there are only signs, both stop until the creator reviews.
These checks run on Agents that use our current bot engine:
- A fan says they are under 18 (for example their age or school year): from then on nothing is sold to that fan and nothing sexual or flirty is said, replies stay short and kind, and no follow ups or campaigns are sent to them. The creator is alerted and cannot switch this off.
- Signs a fan may be under 18 (for example school, a curfew or parents controlling their phone): selling, sexual talk, follow ups and campaigns stop for that fan until the creator reviews the conversation and confirms the fan is an adult.
- The Agents never describe themselves as under 18.
Creators must never release a hold on a fan they have reason to believe is under 18. We keep the under 18 marker even when other data about that fan is deleted, so the protection stays on if they write again.
4. Other protections
In shortNo meetings or payments outside the platform, care around payment disputes, and humans can always step in.
- Requests to meet, call, or move to another app or payment method are declined, and by default they are flagged in the creator's dashboard.
- When a fan talks about a refund or a disputed payment, the creator is alerted, and on the current engine scheduled selling messages to that fan pause for a week or until the creator has looked at it.
- Creators can pause any Agent or take over any conversation at any time. We can stop every Agent on the Service at once.
- The Agents never create, promise or sell custom content, only items that already exist in the creator's gallery.
5. Report a concern
